(1) By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has raised

a grievance that in spite of the fact that period of about 2 years

has lapsed from the date of his superannuation, the respondents

have neither disbursed amount towards leave encashment nor

interest on the delayed payment of retiral dues.

(2) Without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ

petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file

appropriate representation ventilating his grievance before the

competent authority of the respondents alongwith certified copy of

the order instant within a period of two weeks.

(3) In case, the representation so addressed, the respondents

shall do the needful in accordance with law as early as possible

preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of

the representation.

(4) It is made clear that aforesaid direction to decide the

petitioner's representation has been issued only with a view to

ensure expeditious redressal of petitioner's grievance. The same

may not be construed to be an order to decide the representation

in a particular manner.

(5) The stay application also stands disposed of accordingly.
