Learned counsel for the appellants has submitted that the

parties have amicably settled their dispute. In terms of the

compromise, Rs.2,50,000/- have been paid to respondent no.1 by

way of five cheques in the sum of Rs.50,000/- each. It has been

agreed between the parties that the amount has been received by

respondent no.1 in terms of full and final settlement of his claim

and nothing remains due towards him.

Learned counsel for respondent no.1 has admitted the

submissions made by learned counsel for the appellants and has

stated that the parties have amicably settled their dispute and

now nothing remains due towards respondent no.1 against the

appellants.

Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed as withdrawn in view of

the compromise effected between the parties.
