For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Naveen Dhuvan For Respondent(s) :

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA Judgment / Order 22/01/2021

1. Admittedly, the result of the petitioner was declared after the written examination conducted by the RPSC for the post of School Lecturer (Geography). The petitioner was thus, not qualified upto the last date when the examination was conducted in terms of the conditions laid down in the advertisement, therefore, the petitioner's candidature which has been rejected by the RPSC cannot be said to be unjustified or illegal. Merely because of delay in declaring of the result on account of COVID-19 pandemic cannot give any benefit to the petitioner as the RPSC has applied the same yardstick for all candidates.

2. The writ petition is devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed.

3. All pending applications also stands disposed of.
