HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PANKAJ BHANDARI

Judgment / Order

09/02/2021

1. The matter comes up on an application filed by the applicant

for correction of the number of the F.I.R. in the order dated

04.02.2021 passed by this Court in S.B. Criminal Appeal

No.1849/2020.

2. It is contended by counsel for the applicant that the appeal

pertains to F.I.R. No.122/2019, whereas in the Para No.2 of the

order dated 04.02.2021, F.I.R. No.112/2019 was mentioned. It is

further contended that this error occurred due to typographical

error in the subject matter of the criminal appeal, where F.I.R.

No.112/2019 was mentioned. However F.I.R. No.122/2019 was

(2 of 2) [CRLMA-43/2021]

attached with the main criminal appeal and the criminal appeal

was allowed with a detail order considering the F.I.R.

No.122/2019.

3. I have considered the contentions.

4. Considering the contentions of counsel for the applicant, I

deem it proper to allow the application.

5. Application is allowed and in the order dated 04.02.2021, in

Para No.2 "F.I.R. 112/2019" now be read as "F.I.R. No.122/2019".

Amended cause-title has also been filed, which is taken on record

in main Criminal Appeal.
