Petitioner in this Public interest Litigation has raised

grievance about encroachments on public land which are not being

removed. For such purpose the petitioner has also made a

(2 of 2) [CW-14051/2021]

representation to the Collector, Jhunjhunu on 20.09.2021. The

Collector has also taken cognizance of the representation as can

be seen from communication dated 21.09.2021 at Annexure-4 to

the petition.

In terms of the judgment of this Court in the case of

Jagdish Prasad Meena and Ors. Vs. State of Rajasthan and

Ors. (D.B. Civil Writ Petition (PIL) No.10819/2018), such

issues shall have to be gone into by the concerned authorities. It

is expected that the representation of the petitioner shall be

considered preferably within a period of six months from today.

The petition is disposed of.
