Petition herein is, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the

nature of Mandamus directing the respondents not to dig the pond (chappar)

in the cultivable land of the Village. A further prayer has been made for

directing respondents No.1 to 3 to decide the representations dated

11.09.2024 (Annexures P-4 to P-6 respectively).

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal

of grievance of the petitioners, they have moved representations dated

11.09.2024 (Annexures P-4 to P-6 respectively), but the same have not been

adverted to by the concerned authorities, till date.

3. On advance service of copy of petition, Mr. Navneet Singh,

Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab appears on behalf of the

respondent-State.

4. Learned State counsel submits that respondent No.3 authenticity of this document/judgment

(District Development and Panchayat Officer, Amritsar)/competent authority

shall take decision either way, on the pending representation dated

11.09.2024 (Annexure P-6) of the petitioners within a period of three months

from today.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioners, keeping in view the

aforesaid submissions made by learned State counsel, submits that he does

not intend to press the instant writ petition any further, at this stage.

6. Keeping in view the submissions made by learned counsel for

the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

7. All the pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed.
