The instant application has been filed against the order dated
24.05.2024 averring that the applicant-petitioner has been left remediless.
On being confronted with the fact that the impugned judgment
dated 08.01.2019 was passed by the Special Court under the Electricity Act,
2003 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act') against an order of assessment
under Section 135 (1-A) of the Act and that the statutory remedy of appeal
has been provided under Section 156 of the Act.
Learned counsel for the applicant-petitioner does not press the
instant review application at this stage and seeks liberty to take recourse to
the alternative remedies in accordance with law.
Disposed of as not pressed with the liberty as aforesaid.
