The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a direction to the respondents to re-fix the petitioners' pension by granting them annual increment in the last year of retirement, along with all consequential benefits.
2. Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, contends that the Division Bench judgments of this Court granting benefit of one annual increment on completion of six months or more of service in the last year of retirement, have been stayed by the Supreme Court in pending SLPs filed by the State.
3. In this situation, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh one after decision of the said
SLPs in case the cause survives to them.
4. Permitted to do so.
