The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus

directing the respondents to change the cadre of the petitioner from Mewat to

Rest of Haryana under General (unreserved category) on the basis of her first

preference and further place her at the appropriate place in the selection list

dated 27.07.2024, Annexure P-7, for the post of TGT Sanskrit pursuant to

advertisement 02/2023 dated 21.02.2023, Annexure P-1.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised

herein is pending for appropriate decision before the respondents. At this stage,

the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.3 is directed to decide the

pending legal notice, dated 01.10.2024, Annexure P-9, in a specified period.

4. Ms. Tanushree Gupta, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of

the respondents/State and submits that the pending legal notice shall be decided

by respondent No.3 expeditiously.

5. In view thereof, without going into merits of the case, the petition

is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3/Secretary, Haryana Staff

Selection Commission, to consider and decide the pending legal notice, dated

01.10.2024, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, within a period

of six weeks from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order.

6. In case the order is not passed within the stipulated period, the

officer concerned shall pay costs of ₹50,000 to the petitioner.
