AMARJOT BHATTI, J (Oral):
1. Petitioner-Kapil Kumar has filed the present petition under
Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.71, dated 03.04.2010, under
Sections 420 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station City Ferozepur,
District Ferozepur, Punjab as well as impugned order dated 04.01.2020
passed by learned JMIC, Ferozepur.
2. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that as
per the information, petitioner-Kapil Kumar has been acquitted by the
learned trial Court.
3. Learned State counsel has placed on record a copy of
judgment dated 26.10.2023 vide which Kapil Kumar @ Kapil Saini s/o
Balbir Saini has been acquitted in the aforesaid FIR.
4. In view of this judgment, petition for quashing becomes
infructuous and the same is disposed of accordingly.
