Learned State counsel has today filed status report by way of

affidavit of Mr. Gurwinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police,

Kalanaur, District Gurdaspur. Learned State counsel has also filed custody

certificate of the petitioner. Status report as well as custody certificate are

taken on record.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits

that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition.

In view of the aforesaid request, the present petition is

dismissed as withdrawn.
