1. It is informed that the judgments relied upon by the petitioners

in the cases of Ajay Kumar Singla & Others vs. State of Punjab and others in

CWP-17064-2017, decided on 16.02.2023; Rajinder Kumar and others vs.

State of Punjab and others in CWP-7382-2019, decided on 27.03.2023;

Dr.Vishvdeep Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others in CWP-6391-

2016, decided on 26.10.2018; and Gurwinder Singh and others Vs. State of

Punjab and others in CWP-8922-2017, decided on 13.09.2018; are subject

matter of challenge before the Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) No.24345 of

2023/Diary No.41783/2023 titled as State of Punjab and others vs. Ashish

Swaroop and others, wherein the Supreme Court has passed an interim order

staying the operation of the said judgments passed by this Court.

2. In view thereof, learned counsel for the petitioners prays to

withdraw the present petition at this stage.

3. Granting him liberty, writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn at

this stage.
