1. The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition under Articles
226/227 of the Constitution of India, is to issue a writ in the nature of
mandamus, for directing the respondents to reconstruct the service book of
the petitioner forthwith, which has been misplaced by respondent No.4.
2. Learned counsel submits that in view of the fact that the
duplicate service book of the petitioner has been prepared, the present
petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such.
3. Ordered accordingly.
