1. The prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the

impugned order dated 05.06.2003 passed by respondent No.2 and directing

the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion as

Assistant from the date, his juniors were promoted alongwith consequential

benefits.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the relief as

sought has been granted but without consequential benefits and thus prays to

withdraw the petition to challenge the order to that extent.

3. Ordered accordingly.
