1. The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the

Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ in the nature of certiorari for

quashing the impugned order/letter dated 01.06.2023 (Annexure P-1) passed

by respondent No.3-Additional Director (Panchayat), Rural Development

and Panchayat Department, Punjab, whereby, the Executive Engineer (PR)

of the concerned district has been appointed as the implementing agency to

execute the development works in the villages with MGNREGA funds.

2. Learned State counsel, while referring to Annexure R-1/T

attached with the reply filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, submits that

the order/letter dated 01.06.2023 (Annexure P-1), which has been impugned

in the instant Writ Petition, already stands withdrawn vide order dated

29.11.2023 (Annexure R-1/T).

3. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, learned

authenticity of this document/judgment

counsel for the petitioner submits that since order/letter dated 01.06.2023

(Annexure P-1) impugned in the instant Writ Petition already stands

withdrawn, he does not wish to press the instant Writ Petition any further.

4. In view of the above, the instant Petition stands dismissed as not

pressed.

5. All pending application(s), if any, shall also stand closed.
