1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner(s) under Sections 11 & 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondent for disobedience of order dated 23.12.2022 passed by this court in LPA-636-2019.

2. In compliance of order dated 23.12.2022, the counsel for the respondent has placed on record affidavit on behalf of respondent, which is taken on record. The Registry is directed to scan the same and make it part of the soft copy of the case.

3. The counsel for the respondent, after going through the aforesaid affidavit, has submitted that the respondent-Corporation has issued appointment letters to the petitioners who fulfilled the criteria for regularization as provided by this court. Whereas, the petitioners, who were not found eligible and entitled to regularization, they have been given opportunity of hearing and thereafter appropriate decision of

integrity of this document/judgment

appointment or rejection of their claim for regularization has been taken by way of passing speaking orders. In that view of the matter the order, qua which contempt was asserted, has since been complied with. No further action is required in the matter. Accordingly, the present petition has been rendered as infructuous.

4. Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.

5. However, if any grievance any of the petitioner(s) is left unaddressed, the petitioner(s) will be at liberty to avail any other remedy,

but in accordance with law.
