The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for seeking direction to the respondents to decide and take effective steps on the representation dated 12.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) as well as postal receipt dated 13.12.2023 filed by the petitioner being a complainant of the FIR No.0163, dated 21.11.2023, under Sections 420, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Amargarh, District Malerkotla (Annexure P-2).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.3 to look into the representation dated 12.12.2023 (Annexure P-1), within a time bound manner.

Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to look into the representation dated 12.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of

the certified copy of this order.
