1. On the last date of hearing, i.e. 06.03.2024, learned counsel for the petitioner had assured that the petitioner would surrender within 15 days from that date, before the learned trial Court concerned, in pursuance of the directions issued by the learned appellate Court concerned, as his statutory appeal was dismissed, vide judgment dated 01.11.2022, and he remained absent on the date of pronouncement of the judgment.

2. Today, no one has caused appearance on behalf of the petitioner and no information has been supplied to this Court whether the petitioner has caused appearance in pursuance of the directions issued by this Court on 6.3.2024.

3. The case has been called twice. None has put in appearance for the petitioner. It seems that the petitioner has neither complied with the directions (supra) issued by this Court, nor is interested to pursue the present petition, therefore, the instant petition is, hereby, dismissed.
