This petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the official respondents to grant the petitioner promotion to the post of Assistant, as the employees junior to him as per seniority list dated 01.01.2020, Annexure P-8, have been promoted to the said post.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised herein is pending for appropriate decision before respondent no.2. At this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.2 is directed to

decide his pending representation, dated 01.08.2023 (Annexure P-10), in a

specified period.

3. Notice of motion.

4. Ms. Tanushree Gupta, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana,

appearing on advance notice, submits that the pending representation dated 01.08.2023 shall be decided by respondent no.2 expeditiously.

5. In view thereof, without going into the merits of the case, the

petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director Higher
