[1] Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in the above- captioned FIR.

[2] Upon notice, status reports dated 05.11.2022 and 17.02.2023 have been filed on behalf of the respondent-State. Ms. Ambika Sood, Addl.A.G., Haryana, submits that charges against the petitioner were framed on 01.02.2021 and out of 22 prosecution witnesses cited, 13 PWs have already been examined and the trial is underway. Two more prosecution witnesses have been bound down for

SANGEETA today and the trial is on course, as such. Learned State counsel refers to I attest to the accuracy and

para Nos.6 and 7 of status report dated 17.02.2023. She submits that in pursuance to disclosure statement of the petitioner, he got recovered one pouch of poison from the house of the deceased, in which Aluminum Phosphide has been detected as per the report/opinion dated 13.07.2020 of FSL Madhuban.

[3] Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the aforesaid submissions would be a matter of trial. However, he does not press the present petition for grant of regular bail at this stage and prays that a direction may be issued to conclude the trial in a time bound manner.

[4] Learned State counsel does not oppose the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner noticed above.

[5] In light of the above and keeping in view the totality of the circumstances, the present petition is dismissed being not pressed with

direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously.
