1. Prayer in the present petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the

Constitution of India is for issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari for

quashing the award dated 03.06.2015 (Annexure P-6) passed by learned

Industrial Tribunal, Amritsar.

2. Learned State counsel appearing for the petitioner has handed

over a photocopy of the receipt regarding payment of cost of Rs.10,000/- as

imposed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court on 05.04.2019. The same is

taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Learned State counsel further

submits that as per his instructions received from Sub Divisional Officer

(Harjinder Singh), who is present in the Court, respondent No.1-Didar Singh

has expired. He further informed the Court that the relief granted to

respondent No.1 vide impugned award dated 03.06.2015 i.e. compensation

of Rs.30,000/- already stands disbursed.

3. Learned State counsel for the petitioner has submitted that once

the payment already stands disbursed in terms of the award and even

respondent No.1-Didar Singh is stated to have expired, accordingly, he does

not press the instant petition any further.

4. In view of the fair stand taken by learned counsel for the

petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed.

5. All pending application(s), if any, shall stands closed.
