The petitioner has assailed the order dated 10.03.2021 passed
by the Court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Moga vide which charge
under Sections 14 and 15 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences
Act and 67-B of Information Technology Act has been framed against him.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Harwinder
Singh, submits that the trial of the case has culminated in acquittal of the
petitioner in terms of the judgment dated 31.10.2022 passed by the learned
trial Court and as such, the present petition has been rendered infructuous.
Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
As none has joined the proceedings on behalf of the petitioner,
the petitioner shall be at liberty to seek revival of the petition within three
months in the event, the assertions as projected hereinabove are found to be
factually incorrect.
