1. In compliance of the order dated 26.07.2023, detenue-

Mandeep Kaur along with her minor daughter Jotdeep Kaur, has been produced in Court. Detenue-Mandeep Kaur is major. She has stated that she does not want to go with the petitioner, who is her husband, rather, wants to go with respondent No.6, whom she claims to be her mother, though she is not her natural mother and she is sister of her mother.

2. Respondent No.6 is also present in person and has submitted that, in fact, she is the one who has brought up the detenue-Mandeep Kaur as her own daughter and is ready to take her along.

3. In light of the above, the present petition is disposed of and the detenue-Mandeep Kaur along with minor daughter is sent in the custody of respondent No.6, however, without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner

to avail his appropriate remedy, in accordance with law.
