This petition is filed seeking quashing of DDR/Cross case NO. 26 dated 3.1.2018, under Sections 452, 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC arising out of FIR No. 284 dated 29.12.2017, under Sections 323, 324, 148 and 149 (Section 307 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Jandiala, on the basis of compromise.
After arguing for some time and realizing that the petition is not maintainable in view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in State of Madhya Pradesh v. Laxmi Narayan and others, 2019(2) RCR (Criminal) 255, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present petition at this stage.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
