Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C.,
seeking quashing of FIR No.19 dated 24.03.2018 registered under Section
306 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Behram, Nawanshahr
(SBS Nagar) (Annexure P-1).
Reply by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of
Police, Sub-Division Banga, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar has been
filed on behalf of respondent No.1-State, which is taken on record.
State counsel has placed on record a copy of the judgment
dated 16.10.2019 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat
Singh Nagar to submit that accused-petitioner has been acquitted. He

submits that instant petition has become infructuous.
