The same question of law has been raised in these three

petitions, the details of which have been given in the heading hence, all the

petitions are being decided by this common order.

The challenge in these writ petitions is to the disciplinary

proceedings, which the respondents have initiated against the petitioner(s)

either during the service or after retirement so as to recover the alleged loss

caused by the petitioner(s) to the Corporation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submits that the question

of law raised in the present petitions that disciplinary proceedings cannot

continue after retirement or the same cannot be initiated after retirement in

the absence of a Rule to the said effect giving jurisdiction to the employer is

already covered by the judgment of this Court in CWP No. 25369 of 2018

titled as Shaminder Singh Vs. The Punjab Agro Industries Corporation

and another,, decided on 30.09.2019.

Learned counsel(s) for the respondents do not dispute the fact

that the question of law raised in the present petitions is already decided by

this Court in Shaminder Singh's case (supra). Learned counsel(s) for the

respondents very fairly submits that the present petitions can be disposed of

in terms of the said judgment.

Keeping in view the above, the present petitions are disposed of

in terms of the decision in Shaminder Singh's case (supra).
