1. The Petitioner has challenged the order dated 26.07.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur whereas an application for discharge from the offences under Section 12 of the P.C. Act, 1988 and Sections 181 and 182 of the I.P.C has been rejected.

2. Ms. A. Ray, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the case of the Petitioner is squarely covered by the decision of this Court in the case of Kamal Kumar Nanda vrs. State of Orissa (Vigilance) reported in (2017) 67 OCR 81. She files a copy of the judgment in Court today which is taken on record. The same shall be scanned and incorporated in the digital record.

3. Mr. Sangram Das, learned Standing Counsel for the Vigilance Department prays for a short adjournment in order to verify the said decision and make his submission.

4. List this matter on 28.01.2026.

5. Ms. A. Ray, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays that she may be permitted to file an application for adjournment of the case in

the court below. She is, however, unaware of the next date of posting of the case. She is, therefore, directed to take instructions as to the date on which the case is posted to.

6. If the case is posted to any date on or before 28.01.2026 in the learned court below, the Petitioner is permitted to file an application for adjournment of the case till 29.01.2026 which shall be considered as the case has been adjourned at the instance of the learned Standing Counsel for the Vigilance Department.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
