ORDER_ Order No. 24.09.2025

01. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. In course of hearing both parties agree that the facts of this case are squarely covered by the ratio decided in the case of Khirod Biswal vrs. State of Orissa and Another (W.P.(C). No. 3570 of 2025) wherein the period of disengagement was treated as continuous service after reengagement of the petitioner.

3. In such view of the matter, the writ application is disposed of in terms of the judgment passed in Khirod Biswal (supra) with similar directions. The Collector, Kalahandi is directed to consider the case of the petitioner for absorption as Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator as per the 2024 rules by passing appropriate order within one month from today.
