24. 1. This is an application for modification of the
judgment dated 19.08.2025 passed in CRLMC No.334 of 2021.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in paragraph-5 of the said judgment, it has been mentioned that the registration of the F.I.R. was delayed for about five months from the alleged incident. In fact, it is 863 days delay in registration of the F.I.R. To that extent, he seeks correction of the said judgment.
3. Regard being had to the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, in paragraph-5 of the said judgment, in place of the words "Significantly, the F.I.R. was filed after a prolonged and unexplained delay of
over five months from the alleged incident", it may be read as "significantly, the F.I.R. was filed after a prolonged and unexplained delay of 863 days from the alleged incident." The other parts of the said judgment shall remain unaltered.
4. With the aforementioned modification, the I.A. is disposed of.
