01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Instant revision is filed by the petitioner challenging the impugned judgment in Criminal Appeal No.1 of 2025, confirming the order of conviction and sentence in G.R. Case No. 273 of 2010 by learned Assistant Sessions Judge-cum- JMFC, Sohela on the grounds stated therein.

3. Considering the facts pleaded on record and grounds stated, the Court is inclined to issue notice to the opposite party for a reply and response.

4. Hence, it is ordered.

5. Notice. Ms. Dash, learned ASC for the State accepts notice for the opposite party. An extra copy of the revision petition with annexures be served on the State in course of the day.

6. List on 25th September, 2025 for final hearing and orders and for the said purpose, LCR be called for with a direction to the Registry to take steps in that regard.

02. 1. Heard.

2. Instant petition is for interim orders and release of the petitioner with the suspension of sentence in terms of Section 389 Cr.P.C.

3. Recording the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner on the grounds advanced and since the maximum sentence awarded is of one year for an offence under Section 324 IPC and the fact that the petitioner was on bail during trial and pendency of the appeal, this Court, as an interim measure, suspends the sentence under Section 389 Cr.P.C. directing his release subject to conditions imposed by the court of learned Assistant Sessions Judge-cum-JMFC, Sohela, Bargarh in connection with G.R. Case No. 273 of 2010.

4. List on the date fixed for further orders.

5. Urgent copy of this order be issued as per rules.
