29. 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. This I.A. has been filed by the Opposite Parties/Bank

for extension of time for complying the directions passed

by this Court in the judgment dated 17.12.2024 in W.P.(C)

No.12113 of 2023.

3. Heard.

4. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the

Disciplinary Authority of Balasore zone of UCO Bank

went on leave due to critical ailment of his father. In this

process, the appointment of Independent and Impartial

Authority to the conduct fresh inquiry could not be

appointed.

5. Considering the submissions and the averments made

in the I.A., the prayer is rejected.

6. Since the Opposite Parties/Bank has failed to comply

with the judgment dated 17.12.2024 passed by this Court

in W.P.(C) No.12113 of 2023, the Opposite Parties/Bank is

saddled with a cost of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand

Only), which shall be deposited with the Orissa High

Court Bar Association, Cuttack for purchasing the

following books:-

i) Law of Injunction By C M Row (LexisNexis)

ii) Law of Dishonor of Cheques (LexisNexis)

iii) Hindu Law By Mulla 25th Edition 2024

(LexisNexis)

iv) EBC Environmental Law By S C Shastri

7. However, considering the request made by the learned

counsel for the Opposite Parties/Bank, this Court extends

two months time for complying the directions passed by

this Court in the judgment dated 17.12.2024 in W.P.(C)

No.12113 of 2023, failing which, heavy cost shall be

saddled on the Opposite Parties/Bank.

8. Accordingly, the I.A. is disposed of.
