                                            ORDER

14.08.2025 (Hybrid Mode) Order No.

03. 1. Learned counsel for the respondent draws our attention to the order dated 07.08.2024 passed earlier wherein direction/observation was made as indicated in the said order which we reproduce and reiterate again.

"3. Ms. Pradhan prays for stay of operation of impugned judgment regarding direction for payment of permanent alimony at ₹15,00,000/-(rupees fifteen lakhs). On query she submits, her client will put in ₹1,00,000/- (rupees one lakh) as security.

4. We direct appellant will put in ₹5,00,000/- (rupees five lakhs) as cash security. It is to be tendered to Registrar(Judicial) by 28th August, 2024. There will be unconditional stay of impugned judgment till 28th August, 2024. In event the deposit is made, Registrar(Judicial) will invest same in a short term interest bearing deposit account.

The deposit be kept renewed to credit of the appeal On omission to deposit, the stay will stand automatically vacated on and from 29th August, 2024."

2. Office note put up by the Registry indicates that ₹5,00,000/- (rupees five lakhs) in favour of the Registrar(Judicial) has not yet been deposited.

Learned counsel for the respondent draws our attention execution proceeding is not further moving because of the pendency of this appeal.

3. Learned counsel for the appellant seeks further time for compliance of the order by the appellant. However, we do not observe anything at this juncture.

4. On consent, list on 9th September, 2025.
