1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

It is submitted by Mr. Gopal Chandra Das, learned counsel being authorized by Mr. Dhananjaya Mund, learned counsel for the Petitioner that pursuant to judgment dated 26th April, 2024 passed by learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Nuapada in L.A.R. No. 44 of 2022 in a reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (in short 'the Act'), the Petitioner has filed an application under Section 28-A of the said Act. The said application is pending before the Special Land Acquisition Officer (R&R), Lower Indra Irrigation Project, Khariar.

3. In view of the inaction of the Special Land Acquisition Officer (R&R) in taking a decision under Section 28-A of the Act, the Petitioner has filed this writ application.

4. Mr. S.N. Biswal, learned Additional Standing Counsel prays for an adjournment to take instruction in the matter.

5. Put up on 26th August, 2025.

6. Instructions, if any, shall be obtained in the meantime positively.
