31.10.2023 Order No. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. Mr. Khuntia, learned Counsel for the Petitioner is present.
3. As per the noting given by the Stamp Reporter, the nomenclature of this matter needs to be changed to MACA instead of Writ Petition. Impugned is the judgment dated 19.08.2016, vide which the Petitioner, being owner of the offending vehicle, was directed to pay compensation of Rs.1,41,000/- with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of Application within three months from the date of such Order. As the impugned judgment is dated 19.08.2016 and there is no interim Order staying operation of the said order, learned Counsel for the Petitioner prays for a short adjournment to take instruction and apprise the Court, as to whether any cause of action still survives and after making query, if required, to take necessary steps for change of nomenclature, as pointed out by the Office.
4. Matter be listed in the week commencing from 20.11.2023, as prayed for.
