01. 1. Mr. Sukanta Kumar Dalai, learned counsel appearing for the Respondents agrees that in view of the judgment dated 19th September, 2022 of the Division Bench of this Court in W.A. No.401 of 2017 and batch (Gagan Bihari Patra v. State of Odisha), the Collector has the power to transfer a Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS). He adds that the Respondents will abide by any order that may be passed by the Collector in that regard.
2. In view of the above statement, the impugned order dated 15th February, 2022 passed by learned Single Judge in W.P.(C) No.21819 of 2019 is hereby set aside.
3. The writ appeal is accordingly allowed. It will be open now to the Collector concerned to issue necessary orders regarding the transfer of the Respondents.
