08. 1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. Heard Mr. T.C. Mohanty, learned senior counsel for the injured

- claimant - Appellant and Mr. G.P. Dutta, learned counsel for insurer

- Respondent No.2.

3. The notice on the owner - Respondent No.1 is treated sufficient in view of postal tracking report.

4. Present appeal by the injured - Appellant is directed against impugned judgment dated 20th June, 2014 of learned 2nd ADJ-cum- MACT, Cuttack passed in MAC Case No.1114 of 2001, wherein compensation to the tune of Rs.45,000/- along with interest @ 7% per annum from the date of filing of the claim application, i.e. 20th December, 2001 has been granted on account of injuries sustained by the injured - claimant in the motor vehicular accident dated 8th July, 2001.

5. Upon hearing both parties and considering all such grounds of challenge advanced including the period of treatment of the injured in the hospital as indoor patient, a further consolidated sum of Rs.20,000/- is granted in his favour. Mr. Mohanty, learned senior counsel agrees with the same.

6. In the result the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the insurer - Respondent No.2 to deposit a further consolidated sum of Rs.20,000/- (twenty thousand) before the tribunal, within a period of two months from today; where-after the same shall be disbursed in favour of the injured - claimant.

7. An urgent certified copy of this order be issued as per rules.
