                                    ORDER

1. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical) Mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

3. The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:-

< It is therefore prayed that, this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue Rule NISI calling upon the opposite parties more particularly to the Opp. Party Nos.1 and 2 to show cause as to why the decision/rejection order vide No.10682 dt.13.03.2023 (under Annexure-7) passed by the Director, Higher Education (O.P. No.2) shall not be quashed;

And as to why the Petitioner shall not be given appointment under Orissa Civil Service (Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme) Rules immediately considering the Hon'ble Apex Court's judgment passed in case of Malaya Nanda Sethy-vrs-State of Odisha and others, reported in 2022(II)(SC)-1(under Annexure-8) and the petitioner's representation dt.20.03.2023(under Annexure-9).=

4. He further submits that through highlighting her grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-5 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has // 2 //

been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to Opposite Party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

5. Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs Opposite Party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

6. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
