2. 1. This matter is taken up through virtual mode.
2. The Appellant-Petitioner was on bail during trial and has been in custody after passing of the impugned judgment of conviction. It is submitted that the Appellant-Petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case inasmuch as he and the victim were in a consensual relationship for five years and only because the Appellant-Petitioner refused to marry her, the case was foisted.

3. Considering the submissions and on perusal of the statements of the witnesses including that of the victim, I am inclined to release the Appellant-Petitioner on bail. Let the Appellant- Petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as may be fixed by the convicting Court in S.T. Case No.54/44/2021 including the condition that he shall not misuse the liberty granted to him I.A. is disposed of.
