CORAM:

ORDER
11.02.2022 Order No.
08. 1. Heard Mr. S.K. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Appellant-
claimant and Mr. P.K. Mahali, learned counsel for the Respondent No.2-Insurance Company.
2. Present appeal by the injured-claimant is for enhancement of the compensation amount.
3. In the impugned judgment dated 8.2.2005 passed by the learned 1st M.A.C.T., Keonjhar in MAC Case No.15 of 1994 it has been directed for payment of compensation to the tune of Rs.2000/- to be paid by the insurer and to recover the same from the owner on the ground that the claimant was gratuitous passenger in the offending vehicle.
4. Having heard both the parties and upon perusal of the impugned judgment, it reveals that the accident is dated 13.5.1994. Considering the nature of injuries which are simple bruishes, I do not find any reason for enhancement in the compensation amount. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.
