02. 02.06.2021 This matter is taken up through video
conferencing mode in the Vacation Court.
Heard Mr. M.R. Khatua, learned counsel for
the petitioner and Mr. G.N. Rout, learned Additional
Standing Counsel.
It appears in the rejection order that the
petitioner has at least two criminal antecedents. Mr. M.R.
Khatua, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
petitioner has acquitted in 2 (a)CC Case No. 01 of 2009
involving seizure of 47 Kg. 800 gram contraband ganja and
the other case is pending.
Mr. G.N. Rout, learned Additional Standing
Counsel states that the case diary has been received in the
case but he has no instructions regarding acquittal of the
petitioner in 2(a) CC Case No 1 of 2009.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed
to file the judgment acquitting the petitioner, after serving
a copy on the learned State Counsel.
