02.   13.01.2021                  This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing
                   mode.
                                  Heard learned counsel for the parties.
                                  The writ petition involves the following prayer:
                                   "It is, therefore, prayed that the Hon'ble Court be
                            pleased to allow the writ petition by directing the Opp.
                            Parties that the petitioner is to be governed under the old
                            O.C.S.(Pension) Rules, 1992 and existing GPF(O) Rules,
                            but not under the new restructured defined new pension
                            scheme, i.e. NPS with further directing the Opp. Parties to
                            continue the GPF subscription deduction in the GPF
                            account of the petitioner by making subscription regularly
                            with all consequential service benefits so also treating her
                            service under the GPF(o) Rules so also under the old
                            O.C.S.(Pension) Rules, 1992 by taking into account her
                            initial date of appointment keeping in view of the
                            order/judgment(s) under Annexure-7, 7/1 & 7/2 for the
                            interest of justice.
                                   And may pass any other Writ(s), Direction(s),
                            Order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may be deemed fit and
                            proper;
                                   And for this act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in
                            duty bound ever pray;"

                                  Looking to the limited request involved herein and as
                   this Court finds, the representation of the petitioner involving the
                   matter vide Annexure-9 since pending consideration, this Court
                   without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case disposes
                   of the writ petition directing the Chief District Medical & Public
                   Health Officer, Cuttack, opposite party no.4 to look into the
                   grievance of the petitioner vide Annexure-9 and take decision as
                   appropriate, taking into consideration Annexures-7, 7/1 and 7/2
                   and also the plea in the writ petition, as expeditiously as possible
                   preferably within a period of one and half months from the date of
                   communication of copy of this order so also copy of the writ petition
                   by the petitioner.
                                  As restrictions are continuing for COVID-19, learned
                   counsel may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High
                   Court's website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in
                   the   manner   prescribed,    vide    Court's   Notice    No.4587,     dated
                   25.03.2020.
