When the matter was taken up, Ms. HS Bisheshwari, learned counsel

for the petitioner in W.P. (C) No. 917 of 2017 has made an objection in

appearance of Mr. HS Paonam, learned senior counsel, on behalf of Mr. E.

Premjit, learned counsel for some of the respondents on the ground that Mr. HS

Paonam, learned senior counsel, has appeared for the petitioner in W.P. (C) No.

92 of 2016 and he should not appear on behalf of the promotee in this batch of

cases on behalf of the respondents. In this regard, she refers to judgment of the

Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Dayashankar Vs. O.T. Aldons, reported

in (2004) 10 SCC 148.

Heard the arguments advanced by Mr. HS Paonam, learned senior

counsel, for his appearance.

Ms. H. Bisheshwari, learned counsel, seeks further time to argue the

case with regard to appearance of Mr. HS Paonam, learned senior counsel.
