                  PRAYER: Writ Appeal filed under Clause 15 of Letters Patent Act, 1865 to

                  set aside the Order passed in W.P.No.25851 of 2006 dated 07.01.2009 and

                  direct the respondents to restore back the land situate at T.S.No.4/2, New

                  Block No.9 (old No.39) 4 – Roads, Mettur Town measuring an extent of 3.80

                  acres prior to the forcible eviction on 18.08.2006 to the appellants.

                            When the matter was listed for hearing on 25.11.2025, none


                  appeared on behalf of the appellants. Thus, this Court passed an order,


                  directing the Registry to list the matter on 26.11.2025 under the caption “For


                  Dismissal”.




                            2. Even today i.e., on 26.11.2025, when the matter is taken up for


                  hearing, none appeared for the appellants. Thus, it is evident that the


                  appellants are not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the Writ


                  Appeal in W.A.No.293 of 2009 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No


                  costs.
