                V Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore by reversing the
                judgment dated 04.08.2017 made in S.T.C.No.237 of 2016 on the file of the
                Judicial Magistrate No.2, Pollachi.

                                                      JUDGMENT

This Criminal Appeal has been filed to set aside the order of acquittal

dated 24.07.2019 made in C.A.No.241/2017 on the file of the V Additional

District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore by reversing the judgment dated

04.08.2017 made in S.T.C.No.237 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate

No.2, Pollachi.

2. Learned counsel for the appellant would submit that there was a

compromise between the appellant and the respondent. Thereby, the

respondent paid a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- as one time settlement by way of

Demand Draft No.322223 dated 03.06.2024 to the appellant. Therefore, he

seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this appeal and he has also made an

endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the above submission and also the endorsement made

by the learned counsel for the appellant, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as

withdrawn.
