                                                   JUDGMENT

(Judgment made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.M.R.Jothimanian, learned Counsel for Mr.K.Balu, learned

Counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant and Mr.P.Muthukumar,

learned State Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. The appellant has sought permission to hold a public meeting in

Cuddalore district. The same was refused by the respondent authorities and

the appellant was directed to conduct the meeting in other district.

3. The learned Counsel for the appellant submits that the position has

now changed and the appellant would make a fresh representation.

4. If the appellant makes a fresh representation, the respondent

authority shall consider the prevailing situation and take a decision on the

application on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. This Writ Appeal is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
