                     PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of
                     Courts Act, 1971, praying to initiate contempt proceedings against the
                     contemnor for having deliberately, willfully flouted the judgment rendered
                     by this Court dated 25.07.2022 in W.P.(MD).No.15887 of 2018.

                                                             ORDER

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing,

Mr.D.S.Nedunchezhian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the

respondent submits that in compliance with the orders passed by this Court

dated 25.07.2022 in W.P.(MD).No.15887 of 2018, the respondent has

passed an order in Na.Ka.No.464/M4/2022 dated 23.08.2023. The said

order has been produced before this Court.

2. A perusal of the order reveals that the period from 18.02.2011 till

09.07.2012 has been treated as one on duty and therefore, the cause of

action for the contempt does not subsist. Accordingly, the Contempt

Petition stands closed.
