Prayer in W.P.No.24653/2015: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the
Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus
to call for the records in pursuant to the impugned seniority list issued by
the 3rd respondent in proceeding Na. Ka. No.493/2015/Ni 4 dated
18.03.2015 and consequential promotion order issued by the 3rd
respondent in proceedings Roc. No. W2/6890/2015 dated 06.04.2015
and quash these orders and consequently direct the respondents to fix the
seniority of the petitioners based on the TNPSC ranking and based on the
vacancies against which the petitioners were recruited and accordingly
promote them to the post of Deputy Block Development Officers and with
retrospective effect on par with their juniors with all monetary and
consequential service benefits.

JUDGMENT
The issue in these two writ petitions is directly covered by the
judgment of the Madurai Bench of this Court in W.P. (MD. No.2394 of
2018 dated 19.03.2018 and W.P.(MD). No. 12708 of 2017 dated
15.09.2022.
2. In the light of the above, I follow the said judgments. The
writ petitions are accordingly dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the
connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
