This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the

proceedings in STC No.1078 of 2022 on the file of Judicial Magistrate I,

Namakkal.

2. Heard Mr.B.Vasudevan, learned counsel for petitioners and

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first

respondent.

3. The facts of this case is covered by the reported judgment of this

Court in 2018 2 LW (Crl) 606 [Jeevanandham and others Vs. State Rep.

by Inspector of Police and another].

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the

proceedings in STC No.1078 of 2022 on the file of Judicial Magistrate I,

Namakkal, is hereby quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous

petitions are closed.
