                                                        ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police

protection to the petitioner and his property bearing Door No.4/55,

comprised in Old Survey No.124/1A3 New Survey No.124/7, of an extent

of Kathayee Amman Koil Street, 42 Kothangudi Village, Needamangalam

Taluk, Thiruvarur District.

2.Heard, Mr. S.Sathish kumar, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner and Mr.S.Santhosh, learned Government Advocate (Crl side)

appearing for the respondent.

3.It is seen from records that the petitioner owned the property

in old Survey No.124/1A3, New Survey No.124/7 situated at Kathayee

Amman Koil Street, 42 Kothangudi Village, Needamangalam Taluk,

Thiruvarur District. He also filed a partition suit in O.S.No.58 of 2013,

among the family members and the same was decreed by a judgment and

decree dated 09.06.2014. The defendant did not file any appeal so far.

However, the defendant has sold one of the property in favour of the third

party by a registered sale deed dated 08.11.2017. Now, the petitioner

seeking police protection instead of approach the Civil Court for

appropriate relief. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is devoid of

merits.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands

dismissed.
