This W.A.SR.No.50456 of 2022 has been filed under Clause 15

of the Letters Patent Act with a prayer to set aside the adjournment

order passed in W.P.No.12422 of 2022 dated 12.05.2022.

2. Perusal of the records reveal that the Writ Petition itself

has been listed for further hearing during fourth Vacation Court on

25.05.2022. The Registry raised an objection regarding the

maintainability of the Writ Appeal against an adjournment order.

3. We are of the considered opinion that the Writ Appeal

would lie only against the judgment/order under Clause 15 of the

Letters Patent Act and therefore, the objection raised by the

Registry is in consonance with the provisions of the Letters Patent

Act and there is no infirmity. Further, the Writ Petition itself has

been directed to be listed on 25.05.2022 and therefore, we are not

inclined to entertain the Writ Appeal and accordingly, the

W.A.SR.No.50456 of 2022 stands rejected as not maintainable. No

costs.
